The Olori Network

Stronger executive teams. Stronger organizational results.

We've never met an executive team that set out to create confusion, bottlenecks, mistrust, or misalignment. Yet even the smartest, most committed leaders can fall into patterns that produce exactly those outcomes. Leaders can usually feel when something's off, but it's hard to understand from inside the team what keeps producing it.

We help teams see their system more clearly.

Through interviews, organizational data, meeting observation, and direct work with the team, we identify how strategic clarity, roles, decision rights, expectations, relationships, and operating systems are shaping the way leaders work together. We then help the team build a shared understanding of how it's operating, why it matters, and where change will have the greatest impact.

Over the last five years, we've worked alongside more than 500 executives across nearly 100 organizations, helping teams achieve measurable gains in clarity, trust, and execution.

The work becomes the classroom.

We help leaders practice new approaches during the meetings, decisions, conversations, and moments of tension that already define their work.

We introduce practical tools and shared language, help the team apply them in context, and offer feedback as new dynamics emerge. Leaders get to see what happens, reflect, adjust, and try again while advancing the work already in front of them.

Depending on what the team needs, support may include:

  • Executive team discovery and assessment
  • CEO and executive coaching
  • Team facilitation and retreats
  • Group learning
  • Mediation and relationship repair
  • Meeting observation and real-time coaching

Because we work with individual leaders and the team as a whole, insights from one setting can quickly inform the other. Over time, leaders develop the awareness and capability to recognize patterns, interrupt them, and choose a more effective response on their own.

"Olori helped us see patterns we had been living inside for years but couldn't name. Because the work happened in the context of our actual meetings and decisions, the learning became practical, immediate, and transferable."

On the other side, teams lead differently together.

  • Leaders gain greater clarity about what belongs to the executive team and what each member is accountable for.
  • They surface different perspectives earlier and work through disagreement more directly.
  • Decisions become clearer, faster, and less likely to reopen.
  • Meetings produce shared understanding and coordinated action.
  • Leaders take greater ownership for the whole organization, beyond the priorities of their individual functions.
  • CEOs carry less of the leadership burden alone.
  • Trust grows as team members follow through, engage honestly, and work toward shared goals.

Together, these shifts strengthen the team's ability to execute strategy, lead through change, and create the conditions for the broader organization to thrive.

A few windows into the work

A global foundation came to us as employee engagement and organizational outcomes were declining. Leaders believed the organization had a culture problem.

Through discovery, we found that teams lacked clarity about priorities, decisions, and how their work connected to the organization's goals. We helped the executive team develop new approaches for setting priorities, communicating decisions, and engaging leaders across the organization.

Nine months later, key culture measures had improved by more than 60 points. The percentage of employees who felt their perspectives were valued by leadership rose from 25 percent to 92 percent.

A health technology company had talented leaders, but its meetings produced unresolved questions and open loops. Team members were talking around disagreement and struggling to integrate different perspectives.

We shadowed the team, reviewed meeting footage with its members, and identified recurring patterns in how leaders communicated and made decisions. We then joined live meetings and retreats to help them experiment with new approaches.

The team began naming disagreement directly, exploring it more fully, and resolving it together in the room.

"We slowed down in a way that allowed us to speed up. The progress was meaningful because we weren't practicing skills in a vacuum. We were seeing it happen in the context of our actual work, which made it transferable."

Company founder

The founder of a rapidly growing nonprofit felt she was carrying too much of the leadership load. Senior leaders were holding back, and tension in meetings had become difficult to address.

We uncovered a reinforcing pattern. As leaders deferred, the founder stepped in. Her intervention then made it easier for others to continue leaning back.

We helped the team name the pattern, repair strained relationships, and practice different leadership postures. Leaders who had been close to leaving recommitted. Trust, ownership, and cohesion grew. The founder was eventually able to hire a president to lead much of the day-to-day work and focus her attention where it could have the greatest impact.

We work with leaders carrying significant responsibility.

Our clients include university presidents, big-city mayors, CEOs of global foundations and leading nonprofits, and executives at technology companies valued at up to $5 billion.

They lead across different sectors, stages, and circumstances. They share an ambition that requires their executive team to work differently together.

If you know a leader or team at a consequential moment, we'd welcome a conversation.
