A guide to the conversations ahead

Jake,

Over the next few weeks, you'll discuss 360 feedback with eight direct reports, receive your own report, and have the opportunity to support Bre's and Evie's development as their skip-level leader.

Each leader has already received a full report. This companion brings together the central themes and highlights where your perspective, decisions, and support can make the greatest difference.

Your role is to add what only you can see: how each leader is performing against the expectations of their role, where their greatest contributions lie, and what would help them become more effective.

The aim is for each leader to leave with a clearer picture of their strengths, one or two areas worth investing in, and a shared understanding of how you'll support their growth.

Two conversations, distinct purposes

The 360
A developmental mirror
  • How is this leader experienced by others?
  • What strengths should they build on?
  • What patterns warrant reflection or experimentation?
The annual review
Your performance assessment
  • What has this leader delivered?
  • How effectively have they fulfilled expectations?
  • What do you expect going forward?

Use the 360 to inform the questions you ask and the development priorities you discuss. Ground performance judgments in your own observations, results, and role expectations. Anonymous feedback alone doesn't establish a performance conclusion.

How to use this companion

  1. Open a leader's full report from the Leaders tab.
  2. Select Prepare conversation to see their summary and the questions tailored to your role.
  3. Capture reflections if helpful, then download a conversation brief to keep.
  4. Mark the leader's feedback as reviewed when you're ready.

Your own report

Share one or two things you learned from your own 360, including something you intend to do differently. Modeling that openness can help others engage with their feedback.

Confidentiality

The full reports are shared only with you. Please protect the anonymity of contributors and keep the reports and conversation briefs within the intended audience.
